There is currently two playable characters, with more expected in the future, so it’s definitely something to keep an eye on!

How to Start KENKA METAVERSE (Beta)
The beta version of KENKA METAVERSE is playable on both Android and iOS.
Android
- On Android, the app needs to be downloaded directly.
- Go to Settings
- Check “Allow installation of apps from unknown sources” from the Security section
- Install the app from here
- Open the downloaded folder
- Compatible with: Android 10 and above
- Download file size: Over 500MB
iOS
On iOS, the app is not available on the Apple Store but must be downloaded from TestFlight.
- Install the TestFlight app from here
- Once TestFlight is installed, tap here to open the game
- Agree to the Terms of Service
- The app installation will begin
- Compatible with: iPhone 11 and later models
How to Play KENKA METAVERSE (Beta)
When you open the KENKA METAVERSE beta application, you will see a START button and a TRAINING button. Let’s start with the TRAINING version!
- When the game launches, you’ll see the START and TRAINING button.
- Begin by learning how to control the character in TRAINING.
- Once you have a good grasp of the controls, return to the home screen and tap START.
- Select a combat location from the map.
- Select the mode from EASY, NORMAL and HARD.
Controls
- Bottom left of the screen: Controller
- X: Light Punch
- Y: Medium Punch
- A: Light Kick
- B: Medium Kick
- T: Catch and Throw
- P: Powerful spinning kick
- Swing from bottom to right + X: Light Fireball
- Swing from bottom to right + Y: Heavy Fireball
- Swing from bottom to right + X + Y: PowerHit
- Right + B: 360 Degree Kick
- Right + Y: Heavy Punch
Points to Note
- As of January 2024, the playable characters are the fighter “SEXYAMA” (Akiyama Yoshihiro) and Robot Trainer.
- In TRAINING mode, the opponent does not move at all.
- In the actual game mode, the opponent moves.
KENKA METAVERSE Beta App Summary
At this stage, the beta version of the KENKA METAVERSE app appears to be limited to test play only, with no additional features. The playable characters are SEXYAMA and Robot Trainer.
However, it has been noted that the game has impressive graphics and smooth combat controls. With the promise of more playable characters in the future, there’s plenty of excitement and anticipation for what’s to come!
